Porto Skala Hotel Village, Skala (Kefalonia)

The hotel is surrounded by vibrant colors outside, with flowers and fragrant bushes all around. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, offering privacy despite a slightly small bathroom and a challenging shower setup. The service was exceptional with thoughtful gestures and detailed explanations of dishes each night. The location, while not very close to the main attractions, provides a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere with a lovely pool area. The dining experience offers a great selection of fresh foods, although some dishes could be warmer. The facilities are well-kept and enjoyable overall.

I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely side view of the sea from the road to the reception area and then onto the rooms, even though I didn't pay extra for a sea view. The rooms were in dire need of modernization but were kept spotless, thanks to the daily housekeeping service staff. Marijanna and the whole service team were great, friendly, and always happy to help, making my stay enjoyable. However, the portion sizes in the dining area were smaller than expected, and it would have been nice to have pool towels provided instead of having to buy them from the shop. Overall, the hotel offered a cozy atmosphere with a top-notch holiday destination in Kefalonia.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were very clean and had the most gorgeous sea view, especially in room 201. The staff were incredibly friendly and the most helpful I have ever experienced abroad. However, there was a worn-out broken bedside table with a really old radio under it, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was what you'd expect for a comfortable stay, although some rooms have no sea view and a small balcony.

I felt like I was staying in a quaint Greek village overlooking the bay. The daily service was nice, but not having clean sheets for the whole week was a drawback.
